KnowWire applications are selected and conducted where the activity occurs.  The collected data is stored directly on the device until it is transferred wirelessly or through a wired Internet connection to the Web Service for processing.  If your wireless connection is lost, no problem.  Results can be sent next time you are in range.  There are currently three distinct device options:
